    1. Thank you for your lovely comment Meg. I was actually inspired by the cold grey day yesterday, fall fading into winter and comparing it to a past experience. My Sunday has been relaxing and made so much better by the appearance of the sun! I hope your day is just as relaxing and wonderful. – Lola 🌺

  1. Lola, I’m enjoying everything about this post, the image, your wonderful 10 words, and of course the Frida quote. There must be something in the air, possibly a common theme we are wired into, or it’s just this time of year. You have no idea how much I appreciate what you’ve shared here, thank you. It lovely, talk about raising the bar Lola, Bravo! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, take care. ~ Mia

    1. Mia, thank you for your lovely comment. It means so much coming from you. This year has been filled with so much change that it has made my head spin. Change is inevitable of course but there is a certain creative energy that has accompanied it, and for that I am grateful. I agree that this time of year many of us are more reflective. I have been working on several things, but the days have been cold and grey lately, something I am not used to having moved north from Austin. For the first time in a long time I could feel the shift of fall to winter and that is where the inspiration for this piece came from. I am so glad you enjoyed it!! I hope you have a wonderful evening and an amazing week!! – Lola 🌺 xo

      1. You’re so welcome Lola. Inspiration and creative energy comes from mysterious places sometimes, I think we should enjoy it when it arrives. Have you ever watched Elizabeth Gilbert talk about creativity, “Your elusive creative genius”? It fascinating if you haven’t seen it. Enjoy the shift from fall to winter, and stay warm. Thank you, have a wonderful evening, and an amazing week too.
