We’re looking for you
This Halloween night
Behind these masks
Meant to give you a fright

Tricks or Treats
We really don’t care
As long as you scream
While we give you a scare

Give us your goodies
And we’ll have a ball
Knowing tonight
We’ll make your skin crawl

So run and hide
We’ll find you there
In the deepest part
Of your worst nightmare

All of my troubles fade
Into the infinite beauty
Of the western sky
My dreams illuminated
Beneath the blanket
of a million stars

“We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy.” – Joseph Campbell

The gift of the sun
Rays illuminate the sky
It’s beauty peaceful

This is my first attempt at Haiku.  It was harder than in looks, but I do love a challenge.  Enjoy your Sunday! – Lola 🌺
